So I am a little behind on my postings. This year for Easter we went to church in the morning then went to Mark's parents for lunch and a Easter egg hunt. We finished out the day at my parents for another late lunch. It was a fun and busy day. He has Risen He has Risen Indeed!

Roman's spica cast

Yes my 20 month old managed to break his femur the hardest bone in the body. He fell off of my kitchen chair onto our tile floor on Tuesday afternoon. After 20 minutes of crying and not being able to stand I called Mark and had him meet me at sutter's ER. They took x-rays and saw he had a hairline fracture. He had to go up to the OR to have the cast put on, he had to go under and everything. That night Roman and I stayed up in pediatrics, because the hospital didn't have a harness for him to go home in. The next day after hours of calling around for a harness the hospital let me try my carseat and it worked! We were so excited to get home. I did not sleep at all in the hospital. That day I came down with a flu cold ( achy body, temprature, cough) I felt awful. Friday Dominic got diarrhea and Mark got a cold. Saturday Roman got it. We have had a horrible week! Roman has been great though I have to hold him or prop him on the couch with pillows because he can't sit up or stand obviously. I have to move him every 4 hours in the night so he doesn't get sores on his skin. We spend our time pretending to drive and sitting around hopefully we will go out more as soon as the kids get better. 2 more weeks to go. Ahhh

Bloom coffee shop

My new favorite coffee shop is now Bloom coffee shop in Roseville, where Teaz Me used to be over by Costa vida and Paul Maritns. Two guys that go to Bayside church just opened it. The coffee compares to Temple coffee and Naked lounge coffe in Sacramento it is very good. Here are some pictures of the kids my Dad took while we were there.

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas day at my Mom's house. She had us over for breakfast and presents with my immediate family that morning. Then her extended family came over for dinner. We had 6 kids asleep up stairs at different points of the day and about 26 adults and older kids all down stairs it was a full house, but very fun. Dominic Roman and Kate had matching pajamas my dad got a really cute picture of them all on the stairs. I have to get some of his pictures because I had none of my own children I guess all I got was my Mom's house what was I thinking. I will have to post more later.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we spent the whole day with Mark's family we started out having lunch at Paul Martins for Barbara's birthday, and then went back to there house for dinner and presents. The boys had so much fun.

Thanksgiving

Wow it has been a while since I lasted posted. Here are a few pictures of Thanksgiving at Mark's parents house. This was the first year I did not spend Thanksgiving with my family my parents went to Hawaii for my sister Jaclyn's last volleyball tournament with Cal poly. It was a nice day spent with Mark's family.

Huntington Beach

After we took the kids trick or treating we drove them over to Mark's parents house where they spent the night until Sunday. We left at 8:30 and drove to Stockton where we picked up Jenny, Dave and Kate, then we continued all the way to Huntington beach. Mark drove the whole way Dave kept him awake with Francis Chan sermons on his ipod. Jenny and I took turns sleeping in the back while Kate slept the whole way. We arrived at Nichole's house at 3:40 in the morning. The next day Nichole and Joel took us to Crystal Cove for lunch on the beach. Later that afternoon we drove to Breanna's wedding, which was really nice. The next day we went to their church Rock Harbor, and out to lunch from there we drove out. It was a nice weekend without kids accept for baby Kate who doesn't count yet. The boys had a blast with Barbara and Leo and my Mom and Dad. I was excited to get back to them by the end of the weekend.

Halloween

The boys loved being a cowboy and a cow for Halloween. We got a jack a lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's that night for dinner. The kids loved going around the neighborhood and getting candy Roman would not let go of his trick or treat pumpkin for anything. It was a fun night!

A trip to Dave and Jenny's & Nonna's 85th B-day

Last month we went and stayed at Jenny and Dave's house for the weekend. While we were there we celebrated Mark's Nonna's 85th birthday. We went to Macaroni grill with his whole family, Jenny and Dave watched the boys for us so we could enjoy our meal. We took the boys to Nonna's so she could still see them. Dominic stood right at the oven and asked for a cookie as soon as he got there. She keeps her cookies in a tin box in the oven. It was fun hanging out with Jenny and Dave and seeing Mark's family that is his cousin's son Franco I am holding above.

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

Last Sunday we went to Bishop's pumpkin farm with Mark's parents and his sister and her family. The kids had fun going down slides, eating ice cream, riding ponies, and playing on pumpkins. If you haven't been to Bishop's in Wheatlin you should check it out.

Fall birthday celebration

Last weekend we went up to my Aunt's house for our fall birthday celebration. We carved pumpkins, had soup, dessert, and presents for the birthday kids. Dominic had a blast playing with Cade and Adam.

Roman's first buzz cut!

Mark and I cut Roman's baby fine hair with the clippers today. He did great not one tear shed by me or Roman. We captured it on camera for you all to see.

Dominic and Roman love playing with the new sand table my parents got Roman for his birthday. Now we have one fun thing to do in our backyard.

The State Fair

We went to the State fair on Monday night with our friends the Purvis family, and the Councils. We took the kids to the petting zoo, and went on some of the rides. It was a fun night.

Lake Tahoe

Mark's parents got a cabin on the Keys for his whole family to stay in for a week. It was really fun. We went boating, to the beach, out to eat, bike riding, and fishing. It was a really relaxing week for everyone. The boys had a blast playing with there cousin Cameron.

Girls trip to Slo

My first weekend away in 21/2 years it was soo fun being with the girls, but I was ready to go home on Sunday to my boys. Jenny, Kate, and I drove down Friday morning. We stayed at Jaclyn's house with Nichole. We had fun celebrating for Breanna's bachelorette weekend. We also got to see Blake who lives down there with a bunch of his friends. We had fun going to coffee, eating, shopping, and going to the beach.

Menlo park

We watched Charlie one weekend this summer, and met up with the Strouds our old college friends. Dominic and Roman loved playing with their twins Ethan and Emily.

All church camping trip

Last weekend we went camping with our church. We stayed at glory hole camp ground by Angels camp. It was fun sharing a campsite with our friends the Bernhards. The boys had fun going to the water and staying in a tent. It was not fun being in a 100 degree weather, and picking up Roman after he had been crawling around in the dirt all day, but there are always draw back to camping, all in all it was a fun getaway.

Mt. Hermon Family camp

We went to Mt. Hermon family camp with my family for a week. It was so fun! The kids had a blast eating ice cream, going to day camp, staying in a cabin with my family, and going to the boardwalk. Mark loved playing cards all week and spending time with family. I loved not having to cook and clean up after my kids ate. It was also nice getting adult time while the kids were at day camp.

Roman turns 1

We had a dog party to celebrate Roman's 1st birthday. The kids had dog ears, dog collars and ate out of dog bowls. My Mom helped me make all the decorations. It was a lot of fun.
